Went for Friday fish. It was really nice to have a fish dinner for lunch. The food was excellent, and I got a lot for my money. The waitress was very friendly, and did a great job. If looking for a good fish fry I sure would give Rookies a try, well worth it.

My take out order was properly prepared and delicious! My server was so friendly and helpful. The menu has a good selection of pub fare and there are also daily specials worth trying. There are plenty of TVs to watch the games. It's a classic neighborhood sports pub worth a visit.

We went to Rookie’s to watch the final in NCAA Woman’s Hockey with the UW Badgers. The game wasn’t on when we arrived and they happily moved the game on to the tv adjacent to our seats. And we were able to drink Berens Brandy. A great afternoon to be sure!

First timers after Farmers Market last Saturday. We wanted to dine outside because of the beautiful weather. We went outside to find it was occupied by (friendly) smokers on the other end. They were leaving so decided to stay. (Smoke lingered tho) Would be nice if patio area was Smoke-free. Bartend/waitress was very attentive and sweet. We'll go back again. Seems like a very nice clean neighborhood 'CHEERS' We liked the cozy atmosphere and lower ceilings. patrons were friendly too.

Hands down the best Reuben sandwich in Appleton, if not the entire Fox Valley! Portions are incredible and service outstanding. Beer cheese sauce is a must for the fries as well. And if you are really hungry make sure to have an order of the Bavarian Pretzels for an appetizer.

Was about to order grub hub, but went to sit down instead. Candi the bartender was a gem! Welcoming and personable. I got a tap peach beer it was tasty. We split a bavarian pretzel appetizer, took one home. It was delicious!! It was piping hot and soft. Beer cheese dip was great. Burgers were awesome. Jalapeño popper burger and bourben burger. Both had crispy bacon and toasted buns. We’ll be back!
